Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The greater than 10 MeV proton event that began
at 04/1705 UTC continued. The flux at the close of the period was 28
PFU and was gradually decreasing. The maximum flux for this event
was 31,700 PFU at 06/0215 UTC.
