Bulletin

Solar X-ray flux remained below B level. NOAA region 2727 was stable or in decay while rotating towards the West limb. X-ray flux is expected to remain below C level.

No Earth directed CMEs have been observed in coronagraph images.

Proton flux levels were at background values and are expected to remain so.

Solar wind was close to nominal. Solar wind speed varied in the 310-350 km/s range. Total magnetic field reached up to 8nT but is currently back below 5nT. Bz was variable overall. The phi angle was in the negative sector. Solar wind is expected to be near nominal in the next days with later a possible slight increase due to the low latitude extension of the Southern polar coronal hole.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled (NOAA Kp 0-2 and local K Dourbes 0-3). Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet over the next days, possibly later increasing to unsettled conditions.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 012, based on 06 stations.
