Bulletin

The solar activity has been quiet. The sun is spotless and the X-ray flux remained below B-level. Solar activity is expected to remain at low levels.

No Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CME) were observed over the last 24 hours in the available coronagraph imagery. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to remain at low levels.

The Earth is under the slow solar wind regime: The wind speed was below 390 km/s, the total interplanetary magnetic field was below 5 nT, and the Bz component was close to 0 nT with small fluctuations (as recorded by ACE). The solar wind parameters are expected to remain at nominal levels.

Quiet geomagnetic conditions were observed and are expected to remain quiet for the next period.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 23 stations.
