Summary

Story

I observed this aurora from Kivertsi, Volyn region, Ukraine. The activity started as a faint diffuse glow on the northern horizon and gradually evolved into beautiful active rays that were visible for about 30 minutes.

To capture these images, I used my Xiaomi smartphone on a tripod. The photos were taken using 'Pro' mode with an exposure of 15-20 seconds and ISO 1250.

Regarding post-processing, I only made minor adjustments to brightness and contrast to keep the look as natural as possible. It was a thrilling experience to witness such a display at my latitude!
