Truly remarkable. An aurora australis seen as far north as 33° latitude, at home in Curacaví, Chile. A once in a lifetime event.
A faint red-pink glow appeared when looking south.
I travelled to Iceland in 2022 to see the aurora borealis. That’s why witnessing an aurora here felt unforgettable.
I hope to see it again at home someday if all the variables align.
A lot of people come to SpaceWeatherLive to follow the Solar activity or if there is a chance to see the aurora, but with more traffic comes higher costs to keep the servers online.
