Bulletin
NOAA AR 1726, the dominant source of flaring activity in the past week, is now behind the solar west limb. We expect flaring activity now to originate mostly from NOAA AR 1731. This active region near the North-East limb has developed a beta-gamma configuration. We are currently inside a speed solar wind stream but we believe most of the resulting geomagnetic activity is behind us. A return towards quiet geomagnetic conditions is expected.
