Solar X-ray flux remained below C level throughout the period. The region in the South that rotated onto the visible disc was numbered as NOAA region 2765, but appears fairly inactive with a unipolar spot. The overall probability for C flaring is low.
A filament eruption from around S50W20 is visible in SDO/AIA 304 images starting around 23:00UT. Coronagraph data, however, do not show any clear related CME signatures. There were no Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) observed in coronagraph data.
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux levels were at background values and are expected to continue to be at background level. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux has been nominal over the past days.
Solar wind conditions were nominal with Solar wind speed decreasing from around 340 to around 310 km/s. The total magnetic field was below 5nT with an insignificant Bz component. The magnetic field phi angle was in the negative sector most of the time but switched into the positive sector around 9:00UT. Solar wind conditions are expected to be near nominal over the next 24-48 hours, but are likely to become enhanced on June 6 under influence a low latitude extension of the northern polar coronal hole.
Geomagnetic conditions were quiet (both NOAA Kp and local K Dourbes 0-2). Quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions are expected over the next days, later from June 6 increasing to unsettled to active conditions.
