Bulletin

Solar activity was very quiet with only a single B1.1 flare peaking at 20:54 from Catania sunspot group 86 (NOAA active region 2713). This is the only region on the visible disk and it appears stable. Chances for C class flaring remain very low.

No Earth directed CMEs have been recorded in coronagraph images.

Solar proton flux levels were at background values and are expected to remain so.

Solar wind conditions have been nominal with solar wind speed around 300 km/s and total magnetic field below 5 nT. The Bz component of the magnetic field was variable. The magnetic field phi angle indicates a negative sector connection. Solar wind conditions may potentially experience some minor disturbances today and early tomorrow but otherwise nominal conditions should continue.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet (local K Dourbes and NOAA Kp 0-2) and are expected to remain so.
