Bulletin

Over the past 24 hours solar activity has been low. Catania active region #1 remained inactive. No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) have been detected. The greater than 10MeV proton flux remained at background levels over the past 24 hours. Solar activity is expected to remain very low over the next 24 hours. The solar wind speed fluctuated between 550 and 620 km/s over the past 24 hours. The total magnetic field strength has fluctuated around 6 nT. The Bz component fluctuated around 0 nT, ranging between -5 and +5 nT. Geomagnetic conditions ranged between Kp index 1-4 (NOAA) and local K index 1-4 (Dourbes) over the past 24 hours. Active to unsettled geomagnetic conditions can be expected today and tomorrow, mostly quiet geomagnetic conditions can be expected on the day 3 (November 13).
