Informe actividad solar

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Número 162 Publicado el 2200Z a las 10 JUN 1996

IA. Análisis de regiones solares activas y de actividad desde 09-2100Z hasta 10-2100Z

SOLAR ACTIVITY WAS VERY LOW. NO FLARES OCCURRED. REGION 7968 (N02W56), THE ONLY ACTIVE REGION ON THE VISIBLE DISK, HAS BEGUN TO DECAY. THE REGION IS CURRENTLY A SEVEN SPOT 'CAO' GROUP COVERING AN AREA OF APPROXIMATELY 60 MILLIONTHS. REGION 7971 (S07W28), WHICH WAS NUMBERED YESTERDAY, HAS LOST ITS THREE SPOTS AND DECAYED INTO WIDELY SCATTERED PLAGE.
IB. Pronóstico de la actividad solar
SOLAR ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE VERY LOW, WITH THE PROBABILITY OF EITHER A C-CLASS OR M-CLASS EVENT FROM REGION 7968 DOWN TO 30% AND 5% RESPECTIVELY.
IIA. Resumen de la actividad geofísica 09-2100Z a 10-2100Z
THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD HAS BEEN AT QUIET TO UNSETTLED LEVELS FOR THE PAST 24 HOURS.
IIB. Pronóstico de la actividad geofísica
THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED TO BE QUIET TO UNSETTLED FOR THE NEXT THREE DAYS, WITH AN INCRESING CHANCE OF ISOLATED PERIODS OF ACTIVE CONDITIONS ON DAYS TWO AND THREE.
