Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

The greater than 10 MeV proton event that began
at 24/1520Z continues, reaching a new high of 923 pfu at 26/1955Z.
Value at the end of the reporting period was 289 pfu.

The geomagnetic field began the
reporting period at quiet levels, rose to unsettled and then active
conditions by mid period, and ended at minor storm levels for all
latitudes.
