Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

The geomagnetic field was mostly
quiet at mid latitudes, and quiet to unsettled at high latitudes for
the past 24 hours.
D. Estratosfera caliente
STRATWARM ALERT/TUESDAY/STRATWARM EXISTS.
STRONG STRATOSPHERIC MINOR WARMING CONTINUES.
SPLITTED VORTEX IN THE MIDDLE STRATOSPHERE WITH A
MAJOR CENTER OVER CANADA AND A MINOR CENTER OVER
WESTERN SIBERIA, WEAKENING AT 10HPA. THE ANTICYCLONE OVER
THE NORTH ATLANTIC, MOVING EASTWARD, INTENSIFYING.
THE MINOR WARMING OVER GREENLAND, MOVING NORTHEASTWARD.
THE WARM REGION OVER ASIA, WEAKENING IN THE UPPER STRATOSPHERE
REVERSED TEMPERATURE GRADIENT BETWEEN 60N AND THE POLE.
A WARM REGION OVER THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA.
