Informe geofísico

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

C. Resumen de Actividad Geomagnética
The geomagnetic field ranged from quiet to major storm levels. A strong shock was observed at ACE at 21/1614 UTC. This was followed by a sudden impulse at 21/1645 UTC (measured as 15 nt on the Boulder magnetometer). The sudden impulse was followed by minor (21/1500-1800 UTC) and major (21/1800-2400 UTC) storm levels.
