Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

unsettled with active conditions occurring at higher latitudes.

STRATWARM ALERT EXISTS STRATWARM MONDAY
IN THE MIDDLE AND UPPER STRATOSPHERE, A STRONG TEMPERATURE
INCREASE DURING ONE WEEK IS OBSERVED OVER SIBERIA AND
NORTHEASTERN ASIA AND A REVERSED TEMPERATURE GRADIENT
BETWEEN 60N AND THE NORTH POLE IS EXPECTED WITHIN THE
NEXT 5 DAYS. STRATOSPHERIC WARMING IN THE UPPER STRATOSPHERE.
