Informe actividad solar
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Número 005 Publicado el 2200Z a las 05 Jan 2006IA. Análisis de regiones solares activas y de actividad desde 04-2100Z hasta 05-2100Z Solar activity was low. Region 843 (N12W64) produced an
impulsive C4/Sf flare at 0923 UTC. There was a Type II sweep
(estimated shock speed approx. 1100 km/s) associated with the flare.
This event followed soon after a long duration B8 x-ray flare from
nearby Region 841 (N13W91) which attained maximum at 0742 UTC. The
activity was preceded by plage brightenings in both regions.

low to low. Region 843 could produce an isolated C-class flare.

The geomagnetic field was quiet. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux
at geosynchronous orbit was high.
