Informe actividad solar
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

produced a long-duration B2 flare at 07/1614Z. A six degree
disappearing filament, centered at N02E24, was reported between
06/1000Z and 06/2255Z.

The geomagnetic field was quiet to active. Active conditions
occurred from 07/0000Z to 07/0600Z as a result of a prolonged period
of southward IMF Bz.

expected to be quiet to unsettled for the next 24 hours. On 09-10
March, predominantly unsettled conditions are expected, with
possible isolated active periods. This increased activity is due to
a high speed coronal hole stream.
