Informe actividad solar
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels. The greater
than 2 MeV electrons at geosynchronous orbit reached high levels
again today.

The geomagnetic field is
expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on 19 December. A
recurrent high speed coronal hole stream is expected to become
geoeffective on 20 December with active to minor storm conditions
likely to result and persist through the remainder of the forecast
period. Brief isolated major storm periods may occur on 21
December.
