Informe actividad solar
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

24 hours. Region 1102 (N28W26) produced several low level B-class
events. Region 1101 (N13W06) remained stable and quiet and Region
1102 has grown in areal coverage and sunspot number. No new regions
were numbered today.

Solar activity is expected to be at
very low levels with a slight chance for an isolated C-class events
for the next three days (31 August - 02 September).

The geomagnetic field has been at quiet levels for the past 24 hours.
The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit was at
high levels throughout the period.
IIB. Pronóstico de la actividad geofísica
The geomagnetic field is
expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on day one (31 August)
due to a coronal hole high speed stream becoming geoeffective.
Mostly quiet levels are expected to return on days two and three (01
September - 02 September).
