Informe geofísico

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Eventos de Protones
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux decreased to S1 levels in the middle of the period from S2 conditions. The peak flux was 191 pfu at 23/0015 UTC.
C. Resumen de Actividad Geomagnética
Geomagnetic field activity began the period at Strong (G3) storm conditions and increased to an isolated period of Severe (G4) between 23/0300-23/0600 UTC. As the CME continued to pass, storm levels decreased to minor and moderate conditions for a few periods, before decreasing further to activity below storm levels (less than G1).
