Solar activity was very low. X-ray flux remained below C level throughout the period. All regions on disc were simple and decaying, leaving the visible disc nearly spotless. X-ray flux is expected to remain below C level.
Some filament eruptions are visible in AIA 304 images (with corresponding dimmings in AIA 195 images) more or less simultaneously around 21:30UT from the north-eastern and south-eastern quadrant. From STEREO A COR 2 images the associated ejecta appear narrow and are not expected to affect Earth. No other Earth directed CMEs have been recorded in coronagraph data.
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels and is expected to remain so. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux remained below the 1000 pfu alert threshold. The 24h electron fluence was at normal levels and is expected to further decrease to low to normal levels.
Slow solar wind conditions have been recorded. Solar wind speed has decreased to 300 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field was slightly perturbed, reaching a peak of just over 10nT, with a variable orientation. It is unclear whether the perturbations can be attributed to the predicted possible arrival of the CME that left the Sun on June 4. Slow solar wind conditions are expected over the next days.
Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled (NOAA Kp 1-3 and local K Belgium 0-3). Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet to unsettled over the next days.
