The largest solar event of the period was a C7 event observed at
29/0418Z from Region 3806 (S10E56). There are currently 8 numbered
sunspot regions on the disk.

with a slight chance for an X-class flare on days one, two, and three
(30 Aug, 31 Aug, 01 Sep).

The geomagnetic
field has been at quiet to unsettled levels for the past 24 hours. Solar
wind speed reached a peak of 360 km/s at 29/0853Z. Total IMF reached 18
nT at 28/2158Z. The maximum southward component of Bz reached -2 nT at
28/2357Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous orbit reached
a peak level of 131 pfu.

The geomagnetic field is expected
to be at quiet to unsettled levels on days one and three (30 Aug, 01
Sep) and quiet levels on day two (31 Aug). Protons have a slight chance
of crossing threshold on days one, two, and three (30 Aug, 31 Aug, 01
