Rapporto attività solare
Ogni brillamento solare menzionato nel rapporto ha un fattore di scala, applicato dal Centro di Predizione Meteorologica Spaziale (SWPC). A causa del fattore di scala del SWPC, i brillamenti solari sono segnalati come ridotti del 42%, rispetto ai dati di qualità scientifica. Il fattore di scala è stato rimosso dai nostri dati archiviati sui brillamenti solari, per riflettere le unità fisiche reali.

The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels with isolated
minor storm conditions observed for the period of 04/0600Z.
Although velocities reflect a gradual decrease, to around 570 km/s,
solar wind observations from the ACE spacecraft indicate a continued
influence from the high speed solar wind stream. The greater than 2
MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit reached high levels today.

expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels for 05 October. Mostly
quiet conditions should return for 06-07 October as the high speed
solar wind stream subsides.
