Bulletin

The Sun produced no C flares in the past 24 hours. There was high B flaring from NOAA AR 2661, which was a beta-delta region for a short time and is now again a beta region. The chance for a C flare to occur in the next 24 hours is estimated at 45%. No Earth directed CMEs have been observed in available coronagraph images. Proton flux levels are at background values and are expected to remain so. Solar wind speed measured by DSCOVR varied between about 350 and 405 km/s in the past 24 hours, while the magnitude of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) fluctuated between about 1 and 7 nT. Quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions (K Dourbes between 1 and 3; NOAA Kp between 1 and 2) were registered in the past 24 hours. Quiet to unsettled levels (K Dourbes < 4) are expected on June 6, 7 and 8.
