A causa del fattore di scala del SWPC, i brillamenti solari sono segnalati come ridotti del 42%, rispetto ai dati di qualità scientifica. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued a steady decline from S1 (Minor radiation storm) levels, with a maximum flux of 77 pfu at 14/0120 UTC and ended the period below the S1 level. The greater than than 100 MeV proton flux returned to background levels.
C. Sommario dell'Attività Geomagnetica
The geomagnetic field was quiet until the 12-15 UTC synoptic period, when the CIR and CH HSS caused an overall response to active levels, followed by minor and moderate geomagnetic storming conditions during the 15-18 UTC synoptic period. The escalation of activity was likely due to the the prolonged period of negative Bz during CIR passage and CH HSS onset.
