Ogni brillamento solare menzionato nel rapporto ha un fattore di scala, applicato dal Centro di Predizione Meteorologica Spaziale (SWPC). A causa del fattore di scala del SWPC, i brillamenti solari sono segnalati come ridotti del 42%, rispetto ai dati di qualità scientifica. Il fattore di scala è stato rimosso dai nostri dati archiviati sui brillamenti solari, per riflettere le unità fisiche reali.

wind speed reached a peak of 613 km/s at 02/1818Z. Total IMF reached 7
nT at 02/0521Z. The maximum southward component of Bz reached -6 nT at
02/0403Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous orbit reached a
peak level of 11372 pfu.
