The solar activity has been at very low levels over the past 24 hours. The Sun is currently spotless and the X-ray flux remains below B-level. Solar activity is expected to remain at low levels for the next 24 hours.

No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) have been observed in the available coronagraphic imagery. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal values.

The solar wind parameters show nominal values: The total magnetic field is below 5 nT, the solar wind speed remained below 350 km/s, and the southern component of the magnetic filed remained close to zero. The solar wind parameters are expected to remain at the nominal level within the next 24-hour period. Enhancements of the solar wind parameters are expected to start later on Nov 16 or 17 due to the effect of the negative polarity coronal hole high-speed streams, which has reached the central meridian on Nov 13.

Enhancements of the solar wind parameters are expected to start later on Nov 16-17 due to the influence of the negative polarity coronal hole high-speed streams, which has reached the central meridian on Nov 13.

Quiet geomagnetic conditions were observed over the past 24 hours. It is expected to remain so for the next 24h-period until the arrival of the the high-speed stream influence due to the coronal hole later in Nov 16-17, where more active conditions are expected.
