Bulletin

The solar activity has been quiet over the past 24 hours. The visible solar disc is spotless and the X-ray flux is below B-level. The solar activity is expected to remain at low levels over the next 24 hours.

No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) have been observed in the available coronagraphic imagery. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal values.

The Earth remained in the slow solar wind regime: the wind speed range was 320-380 km/s, the total interplanetary magnetic fields were below 6.5 nT, and the southward magnetic component fluctuated between -5 nT and 5 nT. The solar wind conditions are expected in the slow solar wind regime for the next 24-hour period. The high-speed streams from the equatorial coronal hole (negative polarity) that reached the central meridian on February 13 may slightly enhance the solar wind parameters in about 1 days.

The geomagnetic conditions were mostly quiet (with a short isolated period of unsettled conditions) and are expected to remain mostly quiet with possible isolated period of unsettled conditions.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 08 stations.
