The largest solar event of the period was a C6 event observed at
15/1432Z from Region 3112 (N23W0*). There are currently 4 numbered
sunspot regions on the disk.

17 Oct, 18 Oct).

field has been at quiet to minor storm levels for the past 24 hours.
Solar wind speed reached a peak of 580 km/s at 15/2013Z. Total IMF
reached 13 nT at 14/2100Z. The maximum southward component of Bz reached
-11 nT at 14/2243Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous
orbit reached a peak level of 149 pfu.
