Bulletin

The strongest flare reported during last 24 hours was GOES C7.0 flare (peaked at 07:27 UT this morning). The source region of this flare was the newly emerged and fast developing NOAA AR 3151 (Catania group 5). Presently available coronagraph observations show only one image of the associated CME. More will be reported when the additional coronagraph data become available. We expect flaring activity at the C-class level in the coming hours, in particular from the NOAA AR 3151. The isolated M-class flares are still possible but not very probable. No other Earth-directed CMEs were detected in the available coronagraph observations over the past 24 hours.

During last 24 hours the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at the background level, and the greater than 2 MeV electron flux was bellow the threshold value of 1000 pfu. The 24h electron fluence is presently at normal level and we expect it will stay so in the coming 24 hours.

The solar wind speed is presently about 380 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is 4 nT. The solar wind originating from the small positive polarity coronal hole, that has rotated across the central meridian yesterday, might be expected at Earth on November 25. During last 24 hours the geomagnetic conditions were quiet and we expect such a geomagnetic conditions to persist in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 058, based on 05 stations.
