The largest solar event of the period was a M1 event observed at
10/0559Z from Region 3738 (S10E01). There are currently 9 numbered
sunspot regions on the disk.

field has been at quiet levels for the past 24 hours. Solar wind speed
reached a peak of 443 km/s at 10/0832Z. Total IMF reached 6 nT at
10/0625Z. The maximum southward component of Bz reached -5 nT at
09/2117Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous orbit reached
a peak level of 116 pfu.

The geomagnetic field is expected
to be at quiet to active levels on day one (11 Jul), quiet to unsettled
levels on day two (12 Jul) and quiet to minor storm levels on day three
(13 Jul). Protons have a slight chance of crossing threshold on days
one, two, and three (11 Jul, 12 Jul, 13 Jul).
