No active regions visible on the Sun. No flares observed, nor expected.

No Earth directed CMEs in the past 24 h. Solar protons have remained at background levels over the past 24 hours.

The solar wind speed is at 420 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 4 nT. Quiet to unsettled conditions (K and Kp = 1 - 3) were observed in the past 24 h. The solar wind from small patchy negative polarity equatorial coronal holes can still affect the Earth (including the low latitudinal extension of the southern polar coronal hole). Mostly quiet to unsettled conditions expected for the next 48 h.
