Informe actividad solar

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

Informe conjunto USAF/NOAA de actividad Solar y Geofísica

SDF Número 023 Publicado el 2200Z a las 23 JAN 1998

IA. Análisis de regiones solares activas y de actividad desde 22-2100Z hasta 23-2100Z

SOLAR ACTIVITY REMAINED VERY LOW. REGION 8143 (S35E60) PRODUCED SEVERAL SMALL B-CLASS SUBFLARES. THIS REGION GREW AT A SLOW PACE. A SMALL REGION ROTATED AROUND THE EAST LIMB NEAR N12E65 AND WAS NUMBERED AS NEW REGION 8144.
IB. Pronóstico de la actividad solar
SOLAR ACTIVITY SHOULD BE PREDOMINANTLY VERY LOW. REGION 8143 IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ISOLATED SMALL C-CLASS FLARES.
IIA. Resumen de la actividad geofísica 22-2100Z a 23-2100Z
THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD WAS QUIET.
IIB. Pronóstico de la actividad geofísica
A SMALL GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED ON 24-25 JAN. GENERALLY, UNSETTLED TO ACTIVE CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST. ISOLATED MINOR STORM PERIODS ARE POSSIBLE DURING THAT INTERVAL. QUIET TO UNSETTLED CONDITIONS SHOULD OCCUR ON 26 JAN.
