Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

AN ERUPTIVE PROMINENCE ON THE WEST LIMB NEAR NW28. REGION 8662
(S16W19) IS THE MOST COMPLEX REGION ON THE DISK AS A DECAYING E-TYPE
GROUP. THIS REGION HAS PRODUCED ONLY MINOR FLARES SINCE YESTERDAY.
NEW REGIONS NUMBERED INCLUDE 8666 (N14W59) AND 8667 (N23E69).
