Informe actividad solar

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

Informe conjunto USAF/NOAA de actividad Solar y Geofísica

SDF Número 151 Publicado el 2200Z a las 30 May 2008

IA. Análisis de regiones solares activas y de actividad desde 29-2100Z hasta 30-2100Z

Solar activity was at very low levels. The visible disk remained spotless.
IB. Pronóstico de la actividad solar
Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels.
IIA. Resumen de la actividad geofísica 29-2100Z a 30-2100Z
The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels. Solar wind velocities peaked at 665 km/s at about 30/0400Z, and remained elevated between 550 - 600 km/s for the balance of the period.
IIB. Pronóstico de la actividad geofísica
The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels, with a chance for isolated active periods, during days one and two (31 May - 01 Jun). By day three (02 Jun), the geomagnetic field is expected to return to mostly quiet levels.
