Informe actividad solar

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

Informe conjunto USAF/NOAA de actividad Solar y Geofísica

SDF Número 087 Publicado el 2200Z a las 28 Mar 2010

IA. Análisis de regiones solares activas y de actividad desde 27-2100Z hasta 28-2100Z

Solar activity was very low. Region 1057 (N15E04) remained at a Beta magnetic classification while growing in size. Region 1059 (S22E61), now a Hax Alpha spot has increased in size as well.
IB. Pronóstico de la actividad solar
Solar activity is expected to be low with C-class flares expected and a slight chance for a M-class flare over the next 3 days (29-31 March).
IIA. Resumen de la actividad geofísica 27-2100Z a 28-2100Z
The geomagnetic field was quiet with an isolated period of unsettled to active conditions between 03-06Z.
IIB. Pronóstico de la actividad geofísica
The geomagnetic field is expected to remain mostly quiet for day 1 (29 March), with brief periods of unsettled to active conditions possible days 2-3 (30-31 March) due to brief periods of Bz south with slightly elevated solar wind speeds.
