Solar activity has been low, NOAA AR 1686 produced a C1.1 flare peaking at 20:44 UT on March 5. More C-class flares are expected with low chances of M-class flares from this AR. Geomagnetic conditions have been quiet, a fast solar wind stream is expected within 24h with possible isolated active periods.
