hours. The largest solar event of the period was a M1 event observed at
22/2300Z from Region 3443 (N28W40). There are currently 12 numbered
sunspot regions on the disk.

with a slight chance for an X-class flare on days one, two, and three
(24 Sep, 25 Sep, 26 Sep).

The geomagnetic
field has been at quiet to unsettled levels for the past 24 hours. Solar
wind speed reached a peak of 395 km/s at 23/0034Z. Total IMF reached 5
nT at 23/1008Z. The maximum southward component of Bz reached -5 nT at
23/1717Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous orbit reached
a peak level of 2394 pfu.

The geomagnetic field is expected
to be at quiet to minor storm levels on day one (24 Sep) and quiet to
active levels on days two and three (25 Sep, 26 Sep). Protons have a
slight chance of crossing threshold on days one, two, and three (24 Sep,
25 Sep, 26 Sep).
