Bulletin

Flaring activity has been very low, no C-class flares in past 24 h. There are two new active regions (no NOAA numbers yet), Catania 13 that emerged close to disk center and Catania 14 rotating over the east limb. They both have still a very simple magnetic field configuration, no large flares expected.

Unsettled to active geomagnetic conditions were registered in the past 24 h, due to the effect of a compression region ahead of the high speed stream expected for today. Solar wind speed is still low, at 390 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 5 nT. Minor storm conditions can be expected.
