We were amazed by a neighbor's status update of a photo of the Nothern Lights and then we went out on our balcony. At first, the Nothern Lights were only visible to the naked eye as a wisp of mist, but clearly recognizable in the photo on the phone. Then it got stronger, so that we could even see it with our own eyes. What an experience, here in northern central Germany!
A lot of people come to SpaceWeatherLive to follow the Solar activity or if there is a chance to see the aurora, but with more traffic comes higher costs to keep the servers online. If you like SpaceWeatherLive and want to support the project you can choose a subscription for an ad-free site or consider a donation. With your help we can keep SpaceWeatherLive online!
