Our first night at our cabin in Selfoss was immediaty spot on, the sun was just set and in the twilight the aurora was already visible with a strong streamer in the west and on photo more green auroras around. Once it was dark enough we got a very nice aurora display from east to west half sky full with bright wjite streamers that on photo were more violet of colour. More clouds came but didn't sop us from seeing some nice details in the aurora with some red patches as well.
A lot of people come to SpaceWeatherLive to follow the Solar activity or if there is a chance to see the aurora, but with more traffic comes higher costs to keep the servers online. If you like SpaceWeatherLive and want to support the project you can choose a subscription for an ad-free site or consider a donation. With your help we can keep SpaceWeatherLive online!
