Informe actividad solar

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Número 172 Publicado el 2200Z a las 20 Jun 2012

IA. Análisis de regiones solares activas y de actividad desde 19-2100Z hasta 20-2100Z

Solar activity was low. Region 1504 (S16W77) produced a C3 flare at 20/1628Z which was the largest event of the period. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed during the period.
IB. Pronóstico de la actividad solar
Solar activity is expected to be predominantly low for the next three days. There is a slight chance for an isolated M-class flare from Region 1504 on day 1 (21 June) as it approaches the west limb.
IIA. Resumen de la actividad geofísica 19-2100Z a 20-2100Z
The geomagnetic field was quiet. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit reached high levels during the period.
IIB. Pronóstico de la actividad geofísica
Geomagnetic activity is expected to be quiet on 21-23 June.
