Solar activity report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

A OCCASIONAL B-CLASS FLARES. THE LARGEST OF THESE WAS A B9/SF FROM
REGION 8062 (N27W65) AT 0333Z. REGION 8065 (N16W83) IS THE LARGEST
GROUP ON THE SUN BUT DID NOT PRODUCE ANY FLARE ACTIVITY.

LOW. BACKGROUND LEVELS SHOULD DECLINE OVER THE NEXT THREE DAYS AS
REGION 8065 ROTATES AROUND WEST LIMB.
