Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. THE WARMING OVER ALASKA,CANADA AND THE ADJACENT ARCTIC
FURTHER WEAKENING.THE REVERSED TEMPERATURE GRADIENT
BETWEEN 60N AND THE POLE EXISTS ONLY IN THE LOWER STRATO-
SPHERE AROUND 50HPA,TODAY.THE LARGE AND INTENSE WARMING
OVER SIBERIA FURTHER STRENGTHENING.WARM AIR SPREADING NORTH-
EASTWARDS.
