Solar activity report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

FLARE OCCURRED AT 02/0122Z. THE ONLY OTHER REGION TO FLARE THIS
PERIOD WAS REGION 8256 (S24W19), PRODUCING A B8/SF AT 02/1242Z.
REGION 8260 (S24E12) EXHIBITED FREQUENT PLAGE FLUCTUATIONS LATE IN
THE PERIOD. REMAINING REGIONS HAVE BEEN STABLE OR SHOWED SOME
DECAY.
