Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

predominantly quiet to unsettled levels with a brief period of
active conditions at high latitudes late in the period.

STRATWARM ALERT / SATURDAY / STRATWARM EXISTS.
INTENSE WARMING OVER NORTHEASTERN SIBERIA / IRELAND CONTINUES WITH
THE TEMPERATURE GRADIENT BETWEEN 60N AND THE POLE REVERSED FROM 10
HPA UPWARDS. EASTERLY ZONAL MEAN WINDS AT 60N, 2 HPA.
