The predicted enhancement of geomagnetic activity is strengthening further than foreseen with K=5 levels now recorded at different locations. We expect the responsible high speed solar wind stream to persist for 1-2 days. Flaring activity is expected at the C-class level, in particular from NOAA AR 1683, currently near the South East limb.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 062, based on 07 stations.
