Solar activity has been low with two minor C-class flares in the last 24 hours and is expected to remain so for the next 48 hours. There is still a slight chance for a M-class flare. The proton flux is again at low levels and is expected to remain so for the next 48 hours. The solar wind speed measured by ACE currently is variable with values between 600 and 750 km/s. The magnitude of the interplanetary magnetic field is stable at 5 nT. Current geomagnetic conditions are quiet and expected to remain so for the next 48 hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 063, based on 18 stations.
