The strongest flare in the past 24 hours was a C8.1 flare from NOAA AR1982-Cat46, now on the solar west limb. Several active regions contain the potential for M or even X-class flares. The proton flux levels remain above event threshold, since mid Feb 25 already for 4 days in a row. Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected in the coming days.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 109, based on 06 stations.
