Solar activity is very low, without even B-class flares reported during last 24 hours. The isolated B-class flares are still possible in the coming hours. No Earth directed CMEs have been observed and the solar protons remained at background level in the past 24 hours.
The Earth is inside the slow solar wind with the speed of about 380 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) magnitude is about 6nT. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet and we expect them to stay so in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 011, based on 13 stations.
