Bulletin

There are presently two numbered sunspot groups on the visible side of the Sun (NOAA ARs 2706 and 2707). During last 24 hours solar flaring activity was at the low B-class level. We expect such a level of activity to persist in the coming hours, an isolated C-class flares are also possible but not very probable. There were no wide and Earth directed CMEs observed in the coronagraph images. The solar protons were at the background level.

The solar wind speed decreased and it presently amounts about 500 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is stable, amounting about 6 nT during last 36 hours. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet and we expect quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 021, based on 23 stations.
